MASHIMA MOTORS
We supply and recommend only the flat sided can motors which are rugged, reliable and quiet in use. They have the advantage over the round can types of being more easily fitted into confined fireboxes or boilers. Motors are supplied with double shafts for use with a flywheel if desired. All motors are tested and fixing screws inserted before packing.

GEARBOXES
We offer a choice of single stage 38:1 gearboxes, one of which is specifically to suit the Mashima 10 series motors with 8.5mm fixing centres. We also offer a choice of two stage gearboxes with either 38:1 or 50:1 ratios. All include precision cut helical gears with boss and grubscrew fixing. As these are straight cut gears they allow sideplay on the driven axle. All gearboxes are supplied with a steel worm with grub screw. Except GB4, all gearboxes can be supplied with either a 1.5mm or 2.0mm bore worm. PLEASE SPECIFY AT TIME OF ORDERING.
